{"id":2708,"date":"2025-01-31T10:08:25","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T10:08:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paderis.gr\/?p=2708"},"modified":"2025-05-29T08:33:44","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T06:33:44","slug":"donut-cheese-burger-with-bacon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paderis.gr\/en\/donut-cheeseburger-with-bacon\/","title":{"rendered":"Donut Cheeseburger with Bacon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients for the Burger<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>140 g ground beef (15-20% fat)<\/li>\n<li>40 g grated onion<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 crispy bacon slices<\/li>\n<li>Grated cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ingredients for the Donut<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>90 ml water (room temperature)<\/li>\n<li>150 ml milk (room temperature)<\/li>\n<li>1 beaten egg<\/li>\n<li>60 g melted butter<\/li>\n<li>460 g all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>60 g sugar<\/li>\n<li>5 g dry yeast<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparation<\/p>\n<p>For the Burger<\/p>\n<p>Mix all ingredients with the beef in a bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Shape into a patty and grill to your desired doneness.<\/p>\n<p>Add cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.<\/p>\n<p>For the Donut<\/p>\n<p>In a mixer bowl, combine all liquids, salt, and sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Sift the flour and mix in the yeast. Add to the mixer and knead into a soft dough.<\/p>\n<p>Cover and let the dough double in size.<\/p>\n<p>Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thickness and cut into donut shapes.<\/p>\n<p>Place on a baking sheet with parchment paper and let them rise in a warm, humid environment.<\/p>\n<p>Heat vegetable oil in a wide pot and fry the donuts on both sides until golden.<\/p>\n<p>Assembly<\/p>\n<p>Slice the donut horizontally in half.<\/p>\n<p>Fill with the burger patty and crispy bacon.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Recipe provided by ANKO Culinary School.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients for the Burger 140 g ground beef (15-20% fat) 40 g grated onion 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Salt &amp;
