Flogeres with Country Style Tzoumagias Pork Sausages
Ingredients:
- 4 Country Style Tzoumagias pork sausages by PADERIS BROS CO
- 250g ready-made kouro pastry
- 100g Camembert cheese
- 50g cranberry jam
- 2 large eggs
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
- 1 tsp fleur de sel
- 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp flour
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut each sausage in half.
- Lightly dust the work surface with flour. Roll out the kouro pastry and cut it into 4 equal portions.
- For each portion, place a slice of Camembert cheese, 1 tbsp of cranberry jam, 1/2 tsp of toasted pine nuts, 2 fresh sage leaves, and the halved sausage.
- Roll up each portion into a log shape and transfer them onto the prepared baking tray.
- Repeat the process for the remaining portions.
- In a small bowl, whisk the two eggs and brush the egg wash over the rolls.
- Sprinkle with fleur de sel and black sesame seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm.
